Zoom Begins Shipping Cable Modems To Best Buy

Boston, MA, January 21, 2003, - Zoom Telephonics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZOOM) announced today that it has just begun shipping the Zoom CableModem Model 5041 to Best Buy stores. The Zoom cable modem will be carried throughout Best Buy's nationwide chain of over 500 stores, as well as through BestBuy.com, the retailer's on-line store.
