VP of Operations Boston, MA – Near South Station

Founded in 1977, Zoom Telephonics is a growing Boston-based $33 million public company that designs, produces, markets, and supports Motorola brand Internet access, local area network, and IoT products. Our VP Operations is retiring; and we are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, hard-working, hands-on senior manager to be responsible for all these key areas of our company:

  • Overseas manufacturers
  • Production planning
  • Inventory Management
  • Logistics
  • Tijuana quality/warehouse/shipping operations
  • Engineering interface for new product introductions and ECOs
  • Sales administration
  • Customer returns
  • Receivables and Payables
  • Cash flow

Responsibilities:

You will be managing 5 or 6 Boston employees and the manager of our Tijuana facility.

This is a very senior position in our company. You will “own” a big area of the company, and work hard and smart for our company’s success. You will report to our President and work with a great team of people in downtown Boston.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Facile with numbers and spreadsheets
  • Strong negotiating skills
