This self-extracting file contains the firmware upgrade for the Zoom/Modem V.92 EXT Model 3048C and 3049C. It will upgrade the firmware to version 1.900M-A. This file is for use with Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000/XP. (Mac and Linux users need to connect the modem to a Windows PC.). After extracting/opening this file, run Flashcom.exe from the newly created "Zoom V.92 EXT Firmware Upgrade v1.900M-A" folder to launch the firmware loader program.

*Please Note: Before running Flashcom, please disable any TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) programs such as screen savers and anti-virus/system utilities as well as any communications programs. Such programs can interfere with the firmware load process and prossibly corrupt the EPROM which would require the modem to be serviced.
