This is the software to setup the ZoomAir 11 Mbps as a client in Windows 95C/98/Me/NT4/2000. Create a folder and copy both files to the same folder, and double click to self-extract.

SmartConnect (.exe file) This self-extracting file contains the latest ZoomAir wireless client software for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. Please note that the "automatic scanning and connection features" of this SmartConnect software only work with the ZoomAir "B" and "C" chip 11 Mbps cards. A "B" or "C" letter will be located on the MAC address label on the ZoomAir card at the bottom right corner of the barcode. If there is an "A" letter or no letter displayed, then this SmartConnect software will not have these "automatic" features with your card. (You may not have "automatic SSID scanning and/or automatic connection to wireless Access_Points. Manually selecting connections will work fine however.)

After extracting/opening the file, run Setup.exe from the newly created "ZoomAir SmartConnect Software" folder. See the included ReadMe.txt file for additional installation information.

This is the software to setup the ZoomAir 11 Mbps card as an AccessPoint. This will run in Windows 95C/98/NT/ME/W2000. The Access Point software requires the original "key" file that came with the purchased Access Point software. The original "zoomair.key" file should be copied onto disk 1 of the downloaded file. If the key file is erased or damaged, call tech support with the MAC address located under the barcode (e.g., 00:40:36:xx:xx:xx) on the floppy "key" disk and a copy of the key file can be sent to you. Create a folder and copy both files to the same folder, and double click to self-extract.
